Why Nimble are supporting women in STEM

Here at Nimble we love technology, and we love helping people. These were the foundations of our business back in 2004, and we still have them as our ‘north star’ today. So in 2019 when we were asking ourselves how else we can help people outside of the loans we provide, we decided that a worthy cause was helping to support the education of Australian women.

Now, you might wonder why only Australian women. Well, although we whole-heartedly support equality, the reality is that the world is not yet walking the talk when it comes to giving women an equal opportunity in the workplace, especially in some industries like STEM-related fields. So this is just a small way that we can help women get a helping hand, which in turn might result in a greater representation of women in these fields.

That’s why we’re proudly offering the ‘Supporting Women in STEM Scholarship’.
