Not only does this protect you financially if your place is badly damaged in, say a storm or fire, your home loan lender may make it a condition of the loan that you have building insurance in place.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Don\u2019t overlook the need to insure your belongings too.
